Summary

Corné Hulst brings over two decades of international expertise in the port and logistics industry, experienced in port privatisation, supply chain corridors, industrial and green hydrogen hub development. He has held Director-level positions with multinational companies across Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. Notably, he served as Vice-President of Operations (COO) at the Pecém Industrial and Port Complex in Northeast Brazil, a joint venture with the Port of Rotterdam.


As a Director at one of Europe's leading shipping and logistics knowledge institutes in Rotterdam, he led consultancy projects for port organizations in Vietnam, Indonesia, and various South American countries. A qualified mechanical engineer and maintenance specialist, Cornelis holds a Master's degree in Business Administration from a UK university and is currently a Doctorate candidate at a Swiss business school, researching Energy Inclusion in Global South Renewable Energy Projects. 


Currently, as Commercial Manager International at Port of Rotterdam International, he is engaged in the energy transition of international ports, green corridors, and renewable hydrogen supply chains via Rotterdam.
