Dr. Storost – born 1974 – is responsible for the International Hydrogen Ramp-up within the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and
Energy. He oversees a budget of over USD 5 billion for H2Global and international funds. Over the past decades, Dr. Storost has held various positions in the Ministry of Economic Affairs as well as in the Federal Foreign Office. His tasks have included heading the German delegation to the Paris Club, heading the division for international development banks, and beeing chief negotiator for EU internal market dossiers. Based on studies in international and European law, Dr Storost also worked for some years as a lawyer in a renowned major law firm. His professional career has taken him to San Francisco, Brussels, Strasbourg, Windhoek, and Eastern Europe, among other places.
