Renee Chilton is the Manager of Green Iron and Steel Policy with the Australian Department of Industry, Science and Resources. Renee has over 20 years of experience with the Queensland and Australian Governments facilitating industry and economic development in regional and Northern Australia, with a focus on manufacturing, clean energy industries, green metals and innovation ecosystems. Renee is leading the implementation of the Green Iron Investment Fund and consideration of cross cutting policy settings for the establishment of a green iron and steel industry in Australia. Renee has qualifications in psychology, business and economics from James Cook University in Townsville.
