Dr. Peter Maagh, born in 1968, studied physics at the University of Bonn and finished hi Diploma in 1994. Further he received a doctorate in engineering in 1998 from RWTH Aachen University.

Dr. Maagh began his professional career in management consulting at McKinsey & Company, where he worked as an Associate Principal until 2005. He then acted as an indepenedent consultant in the energy sector before moving to E.ON in 2007. Within E.ON, Dr. Maagh held various operational and strategic positions, including Director CCGT Europe. In 2016, he joined Uniper SE, where he served as Director Asset Projects. He was appointed Board Member Nuclear at Sydkraft Nucleat Power AB in 2020.

Dr. Maagh took over roles of COO and CTO at Dillinger and Saarstahl and Managing Director of SHS - Stahl-Holding.Saar in August 2023.
