Miro is a chemical engineer with deep expertise across the hydrogen and broader energy value chain, specializing in project development, regulatory engagement, and international collaboration. With a background in research at the Queensland University of Technology (QUT), Miro has focused on the hydrogen and green derivatives supply chain, contributing to feasibility assessments, stakeholder engagement, and government permitting processes for large-scale renewable and hydrogen projects.
He brings a dual perspective shaped by hands-on involvement in both traditional energy systems and emerging clean technologies. His work has spanned green hydrogen, renewables, and carbon capture, utilization and storage (CCUS), with experience across business development, technical due diligence, and regulatory navigation.
In recent years, Miro has played a key role in coordinating multi-stakeholder projects involving Australian government agencies and international partners. This includes contributions to regulatory studies and hydrogen project assessments in partnership with the Netherlands government, aligning with evolving EU sustainability and trade frameworks.
Currently, he leads initiatives in hydrogen and renewable energy with a focus on building cross-border supply chains, accelerating permitting pathways, and aligning Australian projects with EU standards and certification schemes.
